Choice Privileges - Comfort Inn
When I planned to spend my vacation at Houston along with my family, I found an ideal hotel with the help of Choice Hotel's website. We thoroughly enjoyed Houston's water parks, sporting events, shopping, performing arts and race tracks during our stay at Comfort Inn Downtown. Comfort Inn Downtown is one of the best hotels in Houston located near the Downtown Aquarium. We are really thankful to Comfort Inn for making our stay memorable. Also, we used our Choice privileges points earned to stay at Comfort Inn which provided more facilities than what we had expected. We enjoyed the free high-speed internet, local and long distance calls and the complimentary newspaper offered as a part of the choice privilege points.
We were provided a superior accommodation with great professional service at an exceptional location in the centre of downtown area. The hotel is very conveniently located as it is surrounded by attractions and prominent places like Bayou Place entertainment complex, Space Centre Houston, George Brown Convention Center and Downtown Aquarium, Reliant Arena, Reliant Astrodome, Reliant Center, Reliant Stadium and Reliant Park. Houston Airport is located within 20 miles of the hotel. Our family had a very good shopping experience at Galleria Mall. We also visited space exhibits, amusement parks, sea creatures and wild animals. Being a golf enthusiast, I was very happy to visit Memorial Park golf Course which is within two miles from the hotel. Houston city features a large number of restaurants and sensational nightlife. Just close to the hotel we visited a 24 hour restaurant. The downtown area nearer to the hotel is alive with musical entertainment and numerous clubs.
The hotel also provided conveniences to business travelers such as access to fax and copy services, free access of wireless high speed internet in all hotel rooms. The spacious guest rooms were well equipped with large work areas, ironing boards and irons. The room that we stayed had microwave and refrigerator. For our added convenience, laundry facilities were also available in the hotel itself.
We toured the popular Johnson Space Center which exhibits astronaut memorabilia and space flight display. The facility, designed by Disney includes mission control panels and simulated space voyages. We also visited the outstanding restaurants at the multi-level building Bayou Place located in the centre of downtown area. We scrolled a large number of shops and dealt with shop owners to find the best bargain at Traders Village, the 60 acre market offering restaurants, snack stands, games and kids' rides.
Hotel Comfort Inn Downtown gave us an amusing experience to cherish with its cozy and daily made beds, clean rooms and friendly staff. Moreover, the hotel is located in a prime location in Houston in a discreet, quiet and dignified style. We had total privacy and complete relaxation in the hotel in spite of the busy activity in the area. The staff both at the reception and house keeping made our stay more enjoyable. I would strongly recommend Comfort Inn to those who wish to enjoy the richness of life without burning a hole on their pockets.
