The first thing we observed when we are into Holiday Inn Hotel Chesapeake House is that it is located at a central place in Aberdeen city, MD just 1/4 mile off from I-95. From the hotel we could easily reach Cal Ripken Stadium, the place of Aberdeen Ironbirds, Heat Center, Aberdeen Proving Grounds and Bulle Rock Golf Course. We also learnt that we are only 30 miles north of Baltimore downtown, National Aquarium, Inner Harbor, M&T Bank Stadium, the place of Baltimore Ravens and Orioles Park located at Camden Yards.

We enjoyed the various facilities offered by the hotel which includes heated indoor pool, same day dry cleaning and laundry valet service. The washer/ dryer guest self-laundry facilities helped us a lot and we also maintained our daily workouts at the fitness room of the hotel. We also watched ESPN and HBO from and some 50 plus cable channels from the TV they provided in our hotel room. The dedicated high speed internet with increased security assisted me to carry out my business even during my vacations.

Our visit to Aberdeen was very successful because of the friendly staffs of the hotel that provided a pleasant environment and comfortable stay. Almost all the staff fluently spoke English, Spanish and German. The hotel has free parking facility for their guests. The hotel is ideally located in a peaceful suburban area closest to the city of Baltimore and the ambiance in and around the hotel is serene. With the help of this calm and soothing ambiance we relaxed a lot and escaped for sometime from our hasty and stressful life style.

The rooms of the hotels is user-friendly and the hotel boasts 5 floors with 120 Guest Rooms, a Suite, 90 Non Smoking Rooms, 69 Double Bedded Rooms, 51 Single-Bedded Rooms, interior corridor with executive suites and executive floors. All major credit cards such as Visa, Diners Club, American Express, Discover and Carte Blanche are accepted and we took the help of the travel services provided by the rental card desks to tour the nearby places. The hotel also provides amenities like Fascimile, Printer, Copying, High Speed Internet Access by AT&T and wireless data connection to their guests. Apart from these facilities we admired some other miscellaneous services such as kids eat free ice machine, ATM/ cash machine and safety deposit box.

We played tennis at the hotel premises itself and we did our shopping at a nearby swanky shopping centre. You can easily commute to any nearby place like Baltimore Convention Center and Timonium Fairgrounds in a taxi or with the help of shuttle services. During our stay, we visited some other places of interest like Ripken Stadium, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Historic Havre de Grace, Decoy Museum, Industrial Park, Riverside Industrial Park, M&T stadium, Camden Yard Stadium/ Orioles Park, AMTRAK/ Marc Train and Bulle Rock Golf Course.

Holiday Inn Hotel Chesapeake House is superior to other hotels for its extra-large rooms, luxurious bedding, nice staff and excellent food. It is worth trying this hotel if you ever get a chance to visit Aberdeen!
