We spent our vacation at Hotel Indigo located at Hidalgo Street of Houston in United States. We sensed a great difference as soon as we entered the Hotel that possessed soothing colors, exciting imagery, delightful architecture, making us completely inspired, renewed, refreshed and relaxed. The design and décor of the hotel, based on beauty found in nature through golden mean, invited us with a warm welcome. The first thing that we noticed when we booked hotel rooms on the internet is that the hotel allowed pets with a fee. So, we happily took our pet dog on our trip and remitted pet fee and thereafter the hotel took the responsibility of all the disturbances and damages caused by the pet.
The hotel staff spoke fluent English, Dutch, Spanish and French. We utilized the time of our stay in the hotel to visit nearby attractions like Uptond District / Galleria Mall, George Brown Convention Center, Toyota center, Uptown Night Life, Houston Arboretum and Nature Center, Williams Tower, Waterwall, Rice University, Texas Medical Center, Twleve Oaks Hospital, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Rice University, Theater District, museum in Museum District, Houston Zoo, Reliant Stadium Centre. Our family thoroughly enjoyed Houston Texans game when we visited Reliant Park and also the clubs and restaurants in Galleria Area.
Hotel Indigo is a great brand mathematically based on design constant in art, architecture and nature such as Phi of the Fibonacci sequence or golden mean. The shell, which is Hotel Indigo’s brand icon, truly reflects the proportion of the golden mean. The advertising and communications of Hotel Indigo conveys its unique personality with a balanced haiku. Hotel Indigo is not a dull hotel like others. I felt that it is really constructed for busy travelers like me and a great oasis where I can think clearly and work productively. It is not just an environment for shelter, but a great place to reenergize and inspire.
The unique design of the hotel is a combination of nature, art and math in symmetry to provide us a sense of well being and perfect balance. We were offered all the excellent features that you get from any top hotel brand. Apart from this we earned rewards for our stays through the Priority Club Rewards, the hotel’s loyalty program. As a business hotel, Hotel Indigo allowed us to experience what best the life can offer to us. Hotel Indigo is a member of the famous intercontinental hotels group and being a branded boutique hotel, we found a wide variety of choice in food and other amenities when compared to traditional hotels.
We liked the perfect symbol of beauty and proportion of the hotel as well as the design of the lobby chairs. We felt a relaxing atmosphere of balance and order due to the architectural concept of the hotel. The location of the hotel is suitable for those who wish to spend their time in shopping and to enjoy the nightlife of the city. Only a personal visit to the hotel could tell anyone why this hotel is distinct from the other hotels spread throughout the city.

My experience with Hotel
My experience with Hotel Indigo in St. Louis has been a nightmare. I have no idea what the actual hotel is like, but I can tell you that the customer service over the phone is awful. I was promised call-backs from the manager and not once got one. Several times when I called them, I was left holding on the phone for 15-30 minutes! I kept getting the feeling that they thought that if they just ignored me, I would go away. Well, I'm not going away; I"ll continue to fight to get the charge on my credit card removed (their latest excuse for why they "can't" do it is because too much time has elapsed since the charge -- a function of their never calling back and never actually dealing with the issue when I called!). Nightmare, I tell you. This hotel is located in the Central West End in St. Louis, MO.
