We found the Mobile Marriott as the ideal choice when traveling to Mobile. Situated right in heart of Mobile’s entertainment and shopping district, Mobile Marriott is architecturally distinctive place. We found that our stay is located at a distance of 7 miles from Mobile Regional Airport and only few blocks from the interstate 65. The hotel has around 250 luxurious beddings and has an exclusive versatile meeting space of 10,000 sq. ft perfect for the programs for all shapes and sizes.
The first thing that we noticed as soon as we entered is that this is a non-smoking area. Pleasure and business go hand in hand at this Mobile Marriott hotel with the renowned Marriott service and accommodations. Express Check-in, Express Check-out and Video Check-in and Video Check-out are the exclusive features at this hotel. Business center, state-of-art fitness center, high-speed access to the internet and the concierge service are the outstanding features here. The flexible meeting services and facilities are the complements of the renowned meeting expertise of the Marriott. This location is an ideal location with quick access to the major highways, restaurants, shopping and night life.
We found this 251-roomed hotel a very near place to the top attractions like Gulf Coast Science Center and IMAX Theater as well as to the USS Alabama Battleship. The guest room that was offered to us featured the new bedding package from the Marriott along with a lounge and a concierge level. For us, as the business travelers, it is no doubt a "Room That Works". The featured a high speed wired access to the internet along with the voicemail, speakerphone and cordless as the phone features. There is a two-line phone facility along with a desk level electrical outlet. Apart from these, the other features included were Air conditioning, bottled water, alarm clock, individual climate control, iron/ironing board, luxurious bedding—cotton-rich linens, custom duvets and down comforters, down/feather and foam pillows, a rollaway bed, a crib, a safe and tea/coffee maker. Hair Dryer and bathrobe were the bathroom amenities.
The complimentary services offered to us are the coffee in lobby, toll-free phone calls and the in-room tea/coffee services. For the business travelers, the services offered were fax service, copy service, messenger service, overnight delivery/pickup and the business center. We are also offered an onsite ATM, front desks, safe deposit boxes, valet dry-cleaning services. The onsite fitness center has elliptical machines, weight stations, treadmills, free weights and cardiovascular equipments (of course, we haven’t had enough time to spend at this place!!!)
The hotel also has a 9,748 sq ft of total meeting space and 5, 320 square feet ballroom making it a perfect place for business meetings and events. There were a total of 9 meeting rooms with 3 executive boardrooms. These comprehensive meeting facilities are complemented by audiovisual resources and expert catering. Among the equipment at the meeting space are a 35 mm projector, LCD projector, Film projector, AV equipment, CD player, portable stage, video camera, rear screen projection and several others.
