The elegant hotel is located just at 10 minutes distance from the University of Hartford and the downtown Hartford. We also found that this is even located near to the old public art museum of America called the Wadsworth Atheneum Art Museum also to the Lutz children’s Museum which features natural sciences, history and culture exhibits, to the Hartford Civic Center, the Connecticut’s largest indoor entertainment and sports facility, to the Trinity College and to the University of Connecticut. The Quality Inn Conference Center Hotel is located next door to the Connecticut’s Golf Land ‘n’ Games, the expansive fun center featuring miniature golf, bumper boats, go-karts and an arcade. We enjoyed shopping at The Shoppes located in the Buckland Hills. There are a variety of cocktail lounges and restaurants in the surrounding area.
We as the guests at this Vernon hotel enjoyed to the seasonal outdoor pool and the full service facility for exercise. The hotel has approximately 18 banquet and meeting rooms in total with approximately 6,800 vast conference rooms. This has an elegant banquet room which can accommodate approximately 800 guests. We found that the extensive grounds and the country resort ambiance of this hotel together can combine enough to make any outdoor and indoor function such as a trade show, theme party, antique show or an auto show just to make the event some more special. We are also impressed by Corporate Suite with an exclusive parlor for the private parties, a refrigerator, two desks and the modem access. The mini suite has a modem access, a large desk, a refrigerator and a sitting area. The exquisite Bridal Suites feature separate parlor and sleeping rooms, a refrigerator and the contemporary décor.
The amenities and the services offered by the hotel include Meeting/Banquet rooms, free continental breakfast, bus parking, outdoor parking, seasoned outdoor pool, truck parking, tour desk, voice mail, interior corridors and several others. However, there are several other services like use of coy and fax machines, laundry, pet services, news stand, game room, valet cleaning service, restaurant and racquetball for which a reasonable pay has to be made to use. Our room in the hotel included satellite/cable TV, Iron/Ironing board, free local calls, free coffee, Nintendo game system, refrigerator, in-room, tea/coffee maker and a hair dryer. The pay-per-view service for movies is also offered for viewing the movies.
We, as the business travelers, are valued a lot in the hotel. Apart from the services and amenities offered to us in the room, we are also offered car rental service located in the premises and several other services related to the business needs. The room setup guide, ideal for organizing business events has helped us a lot to select the perfect setting for the perfect room according to our requirement. The room setup guide offers various different settings like the classroom setting where the tables are arranged facing the front, the theater setting where the setup has two sided aisles and a center, the banquet rounds the participants are made to sit along the perimeter of the table, U-shape setting where the participants are made to seat along the perimeter of the ‘U’ table without facing its center, reception setting and the conference setting.
We are so pleased to have the offers at the hotel as well as at the business meeting. Everything including the room service was of high-quality.
