Radisson White Sands Resort, Goa
Located on one of the longest beaches of the world, the Radisson White Sands Resort offers an inviting resort atmosphere, top-notch services and warm hospitality services which have pleased the leisure and business travelers like us. According to our observation, the place is a mixed blend of modernity, Indian tradition and Goan culture into exacting global standards. The resort is located 45 minutes distant from the airport.
We are very much astonished by the attractively decorated, spacious suited and rooms at the resort. They featured the welcome amenities such as individual safes, minibars, tea/coffee makers, 25-inch televisions. They have offered us the latest communication facilities such as the access to the high-speed internet and dataports. The 154 rooms including the four luxurious suites include 24 hour internet, in-room laptop connectivity including the dataports, 25 inches flat televisions, hairdryer, coffee/tea maker, minibars and individual safes. There is a sitting room, dining, bedroom and a deluxe bathroom in every site.
We, as the guests at the resort, enjoyed the outstanding recreational activities including the unmatched swimming pool in Goa. This is a free-form pool approximately four meters from the room terraces of the ground floor. Gravity Pool is the place where we forgot ourselves!!! It included pool tables, video games and bowling alleys. Bicycles, air hockey, badminton, croquet, archery, mini theatre, children’s pool, an outdoor jacuzzi and a cyber café are the other facilities made available to us at the resort. Water sports such as parasailing, wind surfing, Jet Ski’s, water skiing, banana boar rides and excursions are made available to us along the public beach of the hotel.
The resort offered us various delicious regional specialties that are cooked to the perfection at the Flavors. It has offered us both outdoor and indoor seating. The Goan seafood specialties in the beachfront setting at the Dhow and Rambooze are quite awesome and delicious. Apart from this, there is 24-hour dining place located at the Waterfall Café. The la Carte is a specialty restaurant for the dinner. There is also a lobby bar named ‘NUTS” which lives upto its style and name. Blue Lagoon, our swim up bar pool restaurant opens at 10 in the morning till very late in evening. As well, there is Luxury ayurveda Spa, called as Lotus Spa from the team who has been practicing the tradition of ayurveda for over 1800 years, as we are said. Along with this are 3 jacuzzis, Steam, saunas and a ship-shaped gymnasium which are offered to us.
The resort even is an ideal location for a large variety of events and meetings which can accommodate up to 45 in number. The resort has function spaces ranging from elegant ballroom to the executive board room. The state-of-the-art conferencing facilities that are offered to us included audiovisual equipments, completely equipped business center with communication equipment and comprehensive secretarial support. A host of professionals from the resort were assisting us during or event.
