The Renaissance Okinawa Resort
The Renaissance Okinawa Resort has the luxurious facilities which are set in the natural environment where the water sports stand as the main attraction. The resort is located very near to the top attractions like the Ryukyu Village, the Southeast Botanical Garden and the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. The reason why we landed into this hotel is that this resort is the nearest hotel to the Nana International Airport. But little did we know about this hotel. The unique inviting surroundings that incorporate the upscale restaurants infuse with the local flavor. This resort is the ultimate of many marine sports all through the year and various dolphin programs are made available here.
A complimentary onsite parking was offered to us as soon as we entered the premises. Every aspect in the resort is expressive and yet functional which have been classically styled with the whimsical touches in warm and vibrant colors. The room given to us is perfect with all the needed equipment enough to create a homely environment. Our room was provided with the air conditioning, individual climate control, pull-out bed sofa, a roll away bed, a safe, a washer/dryer, a crib, pillows feather/down, alarm clock. Apart from these general amenities, we are also offered bottled water but of course, with some additional fee. The bathroom amenities included a separate tub and a shower along with a hair dryer. The entertainment in the room was provided with Satellite/cable TV, a color TV, a mini-bar, videos/movies. The kitchen amenities included tables, chairs and a refrigerator.
There are various onsite restaurants and lounges in the resort such as Anvil House, Coral Sea View, Four Seasons, Irodori, Loy’s Sushi Bar, Sailfish Café and Umikaji. Anvil House is a steakhouse kind of restaurant for Crab & Grill Steak—an exceptional cuisine tailored by a chef’s sensitivity. Coral Sea View is the sea side Bar-B-Q, Four Seasons is the continental type of restaurant open fun dinner and lunch. Irodori is a traditioinal Japanese cuisine and Loy’s Sushi Bar is a modern Japanese bar open for dinner.
