TownePlace Suite, Hawthorne at California is one of those nice hotels that offered a pleasant and refreshing experience to us when we spent our vacation there. The spacious suites with the luxury furniture and amenities made us stay in the hotel for a longer period than what we have intended. The hotel management discourages bringing pets, but allows service animals for disabled persons. The hotel has 144 suites stretched over four floors. We thoroughly enjoyed the general room amenities such as alarm clock, air conditioning, bottled water at an affordable fee, tea service, coffee maker, individual climate control, crib, Web TV and ironing board etc. during our stay.
We were offered spacious king size luxury bedding with thicker mattresses, crisp linens, fluffier pillows, custom comforters, pull out sofa bed and rollaway bed. I also carried out my work smoothly as the suite has a well-lit work area with ergonomic desk and chairs. The hotel has also provided other business amenities like voice mail, two line phones, dual voltage electrical outlet etc. which helped to carry out my work smoothly.
The bathroom amenities and hair dryer were neatly maintained with utmost care by the hotel staff. During our short stay our family enjoyed many cable channels like ESPN, CNN etc. and also we watched our favorite movies/ videos with the help of pay-per-view scheme. Our family also made best use of all the kitchen amenities like dishwasher, conventional oven, pots, pans, serving dishes, microwave oven, silverware, refrigerator, table and chairs, stove and toaster. We were very happy to utilize the complimentary services provided by the hotel such as coffee in lobby, tea/ coffee in-room, Grab n Go Breakfast, continental breakfast and toll free phone calls. We also well utilized the guest services especially the dinner delivery from the local restaurant and safe deposit boxes offered at the front desk.
I always craved for the comfort of home during my vacations, but my stay at Towneplace made me feel at home as it pampered us with the comfortable suites and delicious food. The staffs of the hotel are highly accommodating and they helped us even during late night hours. We utilized our time well with many recreational activities like taking a swimming session at Manhattan Beach which has a heated outdoor panel. We also enjoyed some other activities like Bowling, Biking Trail Jet skiing, Horseback riding, kayaking, fitness/ jogging trail trail, mountain biking, miniature golf, Sailing, Rock climbing, volleyball, tennis and snow summit- big bear in snow skiing.
Being great golf enthusiasts, we played golf at The Lakes, El Segundo which is just 2 miles away from the hotel. The hotel is ideally located near famous landmarks and attractions such as Manhattan Beach, Hollywood, Disneyland, Edison Field, Knott’s Berry Farm, Dodger Stadium, Santa Monica Pier, Old Town Pasadena, Venice Beach and Aquarium of Pacific, the long beach. We felt secure whenever we left our belongings in the suite as the hotel provided us electronic card and key locks as well as sprinklers and smoke detectors.
We have spent our vacations at many hotels situated at different destinations. But, the excellent service and food at Towneplace is above par when compared to all the other hotels.
